Gaming both video and
computer has become more than a fad, it is a part of life. Parents and teachers
worry about games having negative effects on children and a great deal has been
written about games leading to violent behavior and addiction. However, all is
not negative about gaming, studies by leading researchers have shown that video
and computer games have many benefit.
One of the
benefit of playing video and computer games is inducing in decision making and
teaching players to think on their own feet. This will make players be more
independent to make a decision. It’s not easy to make a decision in games
especially in adventure games, because once you make a mistake, it’s so
difficult to be a winner. So, the players need to think on how they can win the
game and become a famous winner.
Second benefit
that we can get from playing video and computer games is a chance to build or
create a team players and hone social skills. This will help the players to be
more alert on how to create a great team and learning how to hone their social
skills in their real life. As we know, it is not very easy to hone our social
skills without any knowledge. From the video games also, we learn slowly how to
hone our social skills like talk to others friend in that games or else.
The third
benefit of playing this both games is teaching players to solve problems,
motivating, and cognitive skills. A lot of games nowadays can be said it as
real adventure game which means the games that teaching the players on how to
solve the problems in that games also can be used in their own real life.
Learning from the games also is the best way to not be a loser in real life.
As conclusion,
we can see that a lot of people nowadays especially parents, they only can see
the disadvantages of video games, but they never think about what their
children will get after playing video games. Actually, video games bring many
advantages to us more than bring disadvantages to us. So, we need to think
carefully whether it’s good to playing video games or not.
